The reports

Each cover opens the official PDF on cepacouncil.com.

Context

The UAE–India CEPA Council publishes research on bilateral trade, policy frameworks and economic corridors between the UAE and India.

The reports carry a lot of tables and charts, and there are many of them, so they need to stay consistent.

My role

What I did

  • I created the editorial layout system: typography, table formatting and data visualisation.
  • I design and lay out every report myself.

What the team did

  • The Council’s content team writes them; I lay out each new one on the system.

Approach

  • One set of styles for type, tables and charts that every report uses.
  • Covers share a layout: the Council’s logo, a large title and a full-bleed photograph, as on the Annual Report and the UAE Special Economic Zones Investor Guide.

Outcome

  • The system is now used across 12 bilateral trade reports and policy papers.
